Mitch McConnell

Mitch McConnell (born February 20, 1942) is a member of the United States Senate, where he has represented Kentucky since 1985. He is a member of the Republican Party and serves as the Senate Minority Leader, making him the highest ranked Republican in the Senate.

In addition to his role as Minority Leader, McConnell is also a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, the Committee on Appropriations, and the Committee on Rules and Administration.

He was a co-suppoter of PIPA, but withdrew his support and called for its shelving on January 19th.[1]
