The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, generally referred to as AFL-CIO, is a national organization of trade unions. It is the largest union federation in the United States and is composed of 56 unions. As of 2008, it represents over 11 million unionized workers.

The AFL-CIO is a supporter of the Stop Online Piracy Act. According to the organization, one of their reasons for supporting the legislation is their belief that "counterfeit goods endanger workers, both as workers and as consumers."[1]
